We've hired some new trainers
They've got 1,500 years of experience...
You’re not going to believe who just joined the Trexo coaching staff.
Starting in the New Year, we’re going to get spiritually fit. And we’re not going to do it alone
These aren’t your typical fitness influencers - though their influence has been felt throughout Christianity over centuries.
We’ve scoured Christian history for trusted spiritual trainers who’ve helped shape thousands of souls.
They know exactly the workout you need - because they’re the ones who invented the original gym for your soul: the monastery.
They coined the term ‘Rule of Life’, and lived it. Devoting their lives to building spiritual practice into modern life - until their whole lives were about devotion to God.
And they’re ready to meet you.
If you’re ready to start the new year with a commitment to JOY, then get ready to put in some time at the Trexo gym:
The Trexo Workout: A Rule of Life for Drawing Closer to God
Daily Anchor (Individual Practice)
Hearts up! = Orient yourself to God in worship (morning, throughout the day, evening)
Jesus Prayer = Stay in constant conversation with God through prayer.
Bodily Prayer = Engage your whole self (sign of cross, kneeling, bowing, open hands, prostration).
Weekly Rhythm (Community Practice)
Sabbath = Rest, wonder, trust that God is in charge (one full day).
Table/Eucharist = Gather for communion with Christ and each other (typically Sunday).
Seasonal Intensives (Deeper Training)
Fasting = (especially Lent). Train in surrender to and dependence on God.
Vigil = (especially Advent). Practice wakefulness and readiness.
Rule of Life (Trexo workout): commitment to a specific rhythm of practice for a certain time period.
January 6 (Epiphany), we’re introducing our new Ancient Practice Coaches:
They have names like:

Augustine
Amma Syncletica
And because Trexo is Ancient Christian Practice for Modern Life, we’ll introduce the new coaches on Substack Live at 4:00pm, Tuesday January 6th.
Trexo gym membership goes up on January 1!
Become a paid subscriber today to join us for live coaching from ancient Christian sources.
And make a commitment to your soul for a new year of meaning, connection, peace, and JOY.
Physical gyms get overcrowded in January.
The spiritual gym? It gets ANCIENT.
Hearts up!
